Luisa: How old are Charlie and Bill Weasley in relation to their other siblings?

JK Rowling replies -> Oh dear, maths. Let me think. Bill is two years older than Charlie, who is two years older than Percy.

....I am so very confused by this. If Charlie were two years older than Percy, that would mean that Charlie was at school Harry's first and second years.... but Charlie was in Romania Harry's first year... and so...... @____@ I'm thinking JKR got confused, and going to go by what the Lexicon says. Because just.. WTF?

The fix is, if Charlie is two ACTUAL years older'n Percy, he could be three school years older -- that's the way it is with my sister and I.

Me: June 1980
Katie: January, 1983
Years different, 2.5

My graduating class: 1998
Katie's: 2001.
